Verk began providing vocational rehabilitation services in the private sector for injured workers under the Oregon Worker's Compensation Division . We also provided job placement services for individuals with disabilities under the Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation Division.

In 1990 with the passage of The Americans With Disabilities Act Title I, Verk developed WorkAble to provide the very best job analyses possible. The job analyses are written to include exact physical and mental aspects of jobs. These job analyses assist employers in the prevention of job discrimination of individuals with physical and mental disabilities. The program has been used and successful at both State and Federal levels.

Beginning in Oregon, Verk has completed job analyses in many different businesses on a national level. The positive impact on workers compensation management of claims has been dramatic and satisfying for all parties involved.
